Inside the Minglong Factory: Battery Pack Assembly and Export Preparation

A photographic look at selected cell assembly, battery pack work-in-progress and packaging preparation areas inside the Minglong factory.

A factory photograph is useful when it shows something specific. It is less useful when it is asked to prove more than the camera can capture.

As Minglong Energy launches its new website, we are sharing a closer look at several working areas inside the Minglong factory. The images show selected moments in cell assembly, battery pack work in progress and packaging preparation. They do not represent one customer order or a complete production route. Instead, they offer overseas product and sourcing teams a straightforward view of the environment in which project requirements are turned into physical work.

Cell handling begins with an organised work area

One of the photographs shows the factory’s cell assembly area, where operators and equipment are arranged along the production floor. A closer view shows cylindrical cells being handled in trays at an individual workstation.

These scenes illustrate an important distinction for an OEM battery project: choosing a cell format is only one decision. The pack still has to be considered as a system, including its electrical configuration, mechanical space, connection method, protection requirements and intended operating conditions.

The photographs do not establish the specification of a particular product, and they are not a substitute for project records or validation data. Those details need to be reviewed against the requirements of each application.

Battery packs take shape through project-specific work

Another image shows an operator working on a rectangular battery assembly. It captures a stage between loose components and a finished product—a useful reminder that battery projects are built through a series of controlled decisions rather than selected from a voltage-and-capacity label alone.

A cell format is one decision.

The pack still has to work as a complete system.

Housing, connectors, cable routing, communication functions and physical interfaces may differ from one project to another. Before a proposal can be meaningfully reviewed, both sides need to understand what the battery must fit, power and communicate with.

For a first discussion, a customer does not need to have every answer. Application details, target voltage and capacity, available space, expected annual volume and destination market are usually a more productive starting point than an incomplete drawing presented as a final specification.

Packaging is part of delivery preparation

The factory images also show packaged cartons on pallets and larger wooden cases in a warehouse area. They document real packaging and storage scenes, but they should not be read as a promise that every battery will use the same packing method.

Packaging requirements depend on the battery configuration, shipment method, destination and the documents applicable to the project. These points need to be confirmed before shipment planning is finalised.

For Minglong Energy, sharing the factory this way is not about turning everyday work into a slogan. It is about giving prospective partners a clearer starting point—and making the next technical conversation more concrete.
